Past or Future? 7 year old philosophy.
Britton recently asked me which I liked better, the past or the future. That's quite a question for a first-grader to ask. I was, needless to say, taken aback. I doubt he understood the depth of the question at the time. He said he liked the future a lot more than the past, and I am glad for him. So what about you? Past or future?

That is quite a question for a first grader. I think that my past is important because everything and everyone in it, good and bad, have helped shape who I am. But I'm going to have to go with the future cause, you know, it's wide open.
Well, cool, that's a question I've never really considered. The past is over and done with, but there are a lot of great memories there.... The future will probably hold good times and great memories, but then they'll be in the past, so I'm thinking I'll have to go with the past once it becomes the past. And, maybe just to be different.
Future!
Hmmm.... I like the past, but for reasons you know, I LOVE the present and worry about the future because I don't want Abby to grow up too fast. You need to mention that he also asked yesterday if the Easter Bunny was real or did Santa make him up.... !!!
